In 2013, the government pledged to provide additional funding to primary schools to improve PE and sport provisions. The funding is provided by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, and Media and Sport, and sees money going directly to primary schools to spend on improving the quality of sport and PE for all their children.
Lady Royd Primary received £19,310 PE and Sports Premium funding for the 2024/25 academic year.
