Our School Vision Statement
To enable every individual regardless of ability to achieve their full potential, to prepare for future life and to become life long learners, developing a thirst for learning and to become good citizens equipped for the challenges of the 21st century.
At Lady Royd Primary School our vision is Aspire, Lead, Succeed. We want to give our children the best opportunities to thrive, provide them with rich learning experiences and a high quality curriculum rich in knowledge which promotes key life skills to prepare them for the future.
- We want our children to aspire to do their best and have the best opportunities to have daily moments of success.
- We want our children to lead by example, be great role models and have opportunities to be leaders in their classrooms and represent their school and community.
- Our children will have multiple opportunities to succeed in multiple areas of the curriculum. All pupils feel included, accepted and listened to have the chance to be seen and heard.
We offer children lots of opportunities to grow academically and pastorally through a clear and inspiring personal development programme. Our ASPIRE values are linked to all aspects of our curriculum and give the pupils the language and vocabulary to succeed across the school.
We help children care for each other, their community and the world around them. They develop empathy and understanding for those around them and feel a sense of belonging to our community.
